Our History
A joint venture between Systems Consultants Associates, Inc. and PPG Industries, Inc., SEC was formed as a limited liability company in 2001 to serve primarily as a Tier 1 supplier of electro-coated frames and other vehicle components for Nissan North America’s automotive manufacturing plant in Canton, Mississippi.
We have rapidly become a proven leader of very high quality electrocoating and related value added services as a Tier I, II and “N” supplier, with a broad customer base of many OEM, Tier “N” and Industrial Customers. Our plant first started production in April 2003 and is housed in a 134,000-square foot facility located on 13 acres.

We are certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WEBNC), Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC), National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949 and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.
Strategic Location
We are located just 15 minutes north of Jackson, Mississippi, the state capital, and less than 3.3 miles from the Nissan-Canton plant.
Our southeastern United States location is highly accessible to various automotive plants and suppliers in the Southeast, offering opportunities for significant savings in transportation and logistic costs to our current and prospective customers.
We are situated off Interstate 55 (which runs from Chicago to New Orleans) and 15 miles from Interstate 20 (which runs from South Carolina to west Texas).

Our Customers
Our largest customer is Nissan North America. We are the ship-to-broadcast, just-in-time exclusive supplier of electrocoated frames for all full-size Titan trucks, mid-size Frontier trucks, and NV light commercial vehicles manufactured in sequence by Nissan in Canton, Mississippi. Also, we electrocoat, assemble, pack, and ship other production and service parts for Nissan and Nissan suppliers. Our other automotive customers include suppliers of production and service parts for Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Chrysler, and GM as well as antique car restorers. Some of our industrial customers have included manufacturers of drill bits, fence systems, architectural grating, structural supports, and generator racks.
